Cort Craven

Graduate Student Intern, He/Him/His

I’m a clinical mental health counseling intern who believes therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and grounded in real life. My approach blends person centered warmth and curiosity with behavioral tools that help clients build insight, flexibility, and confidence in their ability to grow and create fulfilling lives.

As a transgender man and member of the LGBTQ+ community, I’m committed to providing affirming care that welcomes the full complexity of identity, transition, and belonging. I work with adults, with a special focus on supporting transgender and neurodivergent clients. My clinical interests include identity development, emotional wellbeing, neurodiversity, and guiding clients through major life transitions. When helpful, I also incorporate video games into the therapeutic process, using familiar characters, mechanics, and open world environments to support grounding, emotional awareness, and self understanding.
